TERMS AND CONDITIONS (please read)

1. The Hirer shall solely be responsible for the care, maintenance, safety and security of the vehicle during the period of hire.
2. A Hirer who loses any of the keys to the vehicle shall pay the sum of $1,500.00 TTD per key as replacement cost.
3. Use only Premium Fuel (Unleaded High Octane Gasoline) in the vehicle and return same with no less Fuel as was received or pay the cost of refuelling.
4. Under No circumstances will the Hirer remove the Vehicle from the island of Tobago.
5. Under No circumstances will the Hirer accept liability for any accident with consulting the owner.
6. The Hirer will use all care and skill in the driving and/or management of the vehicle and will not exceed the authorized speed limit throughout Tobago (80 km/h or 50 km/h according to roadway) or contravene any other law of Trinidad and Tobago.
7. The Hirer will drive on the left side of the road only.
8. The Hirer will not use the vehicle for any illegal purpose whatsoever and in particular shall not drive the vehicle while under the influences of drugs or alcohol or use same for illegal transportation of person, drugs or contraband.
9. The Hirer acknowledges that the vehicle is in perfect working condition and is in good repair.
10. The Hirer acknowledges and agrees that the vehicle is the property of the Owner (Mack Rentals) and is to be returned immediately upon termination of the period of the hire or upon demand made by the Owner. The Hirer will pay an additional $60.00 TTD for every hour that the vehicle is retained after the stipulated check-in time.
11. IN CASE OF LOSS, DAMAGE TAMPERING, DETENTION BY THE TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO LAW ENFORCEMENT OR COLLISION the Hirer will pay the sum of $25,000.00 TTD as excess and compensation within Twenty four (24) Hours of same event, plus loss of the use at the rate of Hirer herein state PROVIDED that if the insurance refuses to repair or replace the vehicle due to any act, breach omission or failure on the part of the Hirer, the Hirer shall be liable for the full cost, repair or replacement of the said vehicle and for the loss of the use thereof at the said rate.
12. I/WE HEREBY WARRANT that the information supplied herein is true and correct, WE/I understand that if any information herein is false or incorrect that the Owner shall be entitled to recover possession of the vehicle immediately and without prejudice to his/her other remedies, shall forfeit all sums paid to the Hirer pursuant hereto. I/WE agree to the Terms and Conditions set out herein.
